23 Nov 2007 - Don't forget that the deadline to renew your NFMI membership is 02/15/08. You must have your 2008 AMA card in order to renew. If you don't have your card, please visit www.modelaircraft.org or call 1-800-I-Fly-AMA to renew your AMA membership. Once completed, mail the NFMI renewal form that you recently received. If you don't have the form, you can download it HERE Please send it to NFMI at the P.O. Box (above) and mark on the form RENEWAL. The signature that you affix to the form constitutes your *contract* with AMA to validate the insurance they provide.

An Addendum has been added to All Navy Fields. As of April, 2005, ALL NAVY FIELDS Must be
LOCKED AT ALL TIMES, even while club members are present.
Even while you you are flying.. If you are the first person at the field, you must still lock the gate after you have
entered! The main rule is that the gate must always be locked, whether there are club members there or not.
NOTE: New Rules in effect for all Navy Fields:
"The Gates at ALL NOLFS must be closed and locked at all times! Even while club members are present.
They are not to be left open and unlocked during model flying.
You may have someone stay at the gate and waive people through at a predetermined meet time and then
close/lock the gate or lock it individually.
Bottom line, you need to manage it. The gate needs to be secured even when you are flying."
"This is now a requirement of the Facility License."
